Surgical Service

The clinic has a padded knockdown and recovery box and theatre.  Horses that require surgery will benefit from close anaesthetic monitoring with the most up to date equipment and surgery is carried out on an inflatable pneumatic operating table, which is beneficial in avoiding anaesthetic and perioperative complications. 

 

The practice carries out procedures from the routine to the very specialised.  Where needed, we have consultant veterinary surgeons, who are specialised in certain fields, to attend the practice for certain operations.
